Both Friday and Saturday start at 8am with breakfast and registration. Our speakers will start at 9am.
Our banquet on Friday is at 6:30pm. On Saturday we will have our AGM at the end of our day.
We are planning another great convention! Keep watching your inboxes and our website for updates on schedule and speakers! This year we have Dr Thomas, a professor in animal science and the president of IDUBA (International Deer and wild Ungulate Breeders Association) coming via Zoom to speak on cervid farming in Europe, the effects of elk velvet on human health and more! We will have the Ministries of Health and Agriculture there as well for a panel discussion. We also have Scott Napper from VIDO-InterVac coming with another update on the CWD Vaccine, and we have speakers in the works to talk about blood tests for CWD, velvet impacts on human health and other research being done on cervids! There will also be updates from the CCA as well as NAEBA & NORELKCO and government reps.
And, back by popular demand, our Saturday morning OPEN HOUSE and producer panel! Saturday morning will be free to attend for any new producers looking to get into the industry - so get the word out! It will be full of great information new producers need to know and was a great opportunity to bounce ideas off each other even for producers that have been in the industry for a while!
